Breakfast with the Houston CFO Leadership Council

Enjoyed meeting the panelists (Malek Bohsali, MBA, CFE Chip Schweiger, CPA Gray Stratton, CFE Michael E. Anderson,) and members of the CFO Leadership Council today as part of Fraud Awareness Week. The discussion centered on corporate fraud and perspectives on how CFOs can approach such instances throughout the company and in the c-suite. I shared my experiences investigating fraud involving hurricanes and the importance of promoting/coaching authentic communication in creating a culture of transparency and trust to effectively address fraud.
