New Media, Pandemics, and Elections: An Interview with the World Affairs Council of Houston

Recently I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Ronan O'Malley of the Houston World Affairs Council on messaging and narratives that are shaping views. Our talk ranged from the history of disinformation campaigns to the current manipulation of perceptions and the effects of this media on society. Also discussed is background information on "Reflexive Control Theory" and the importance of asking why are our visceral responses are being "triggered" and who is trying to influence our behaviors.
